My childhood was shaped by the vibrant city of Hanoi, Vietnam, and the beautiful colours and souls within it. My outlook on both art and design is strongly influenced by the lived experiences of myself and others, as well as the media I consume.

I've always been a lover of visual storytelling. I used to spend summers drawing stop-motion videos, Adventure Time characters, and watching art tutorials on YouTube.

I'm drawn to art and design because of their flexibility and creative range. Besides experimenting with different mediums (acrylics, watercolour, gouache or digital art), I also enjoy trying new design tools and vibe-coding.

During my time at the University of Sydney, I found myself motivated to pursue design as a field that aligns with me fundamentally. I get to build things that I'm proud of and stay creative while doing it.

I'm also motivated by the idea that design can influence and drive real change, especially in areas that often overlook it, such as law or public systems.

Despite genuinely enjoying creating things in Figma, I also like to surround myself with nature, literature, and friends.

One of my favourite authors is Ocean Vuong. I'm also a huge musical fan (my favourite is "In The Heights").
